A Much Kneaded Massage

About Kenny Pettrey

I am a native of central Florida. I grew up on a horse farm in Ocala and moved to Orlando in 1996. I've literally been practicing massage for over 35 years. As a young child my parents both worked two full times each to help ends meet. In between jobs my mom would love to have her feet massaged after working on the horse farm before heading out as a server at night. My moms feet would scream for for a foot massage and I did my best to relieve her pain; thus a career was born.

It was later in my mid 20's that my passion to help others through the power of touch was reignited. I then attended the Florida College of Natural Health and graduated in 2005. After graduation and accreditation from The National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB) and the state of Florida licensing board, I started slowly doing out calls and working late nights in the restaurant world. I soon decided it was time to dedicate all of my time to massage and learning new techniques to further help my clients' needs.

I've worked full time at a well know national massage company during which time it was my honor to receive the Regional Therapist of the year, selected and voted on by my peers throughout central Florida. Throughout the years and thousands of massages, I have become one of the top producers and requested therapists in the company. I have advanced training in Deep Tissue, Trigger point, Sports massage, Neck and Pre- Natal therapies. Additional training in Asian reflexology, medical massage and TMD (Temporomandibular Joint Disorders). It was time to spread my wings and venture out on my own and thus the creation of A Much Kneaded Massage was born. My passion to help others has only grown and my dedication is to delivering a high quality massage at an affordable price.

I enjoy spending my spare time with our furry family, our beloved dogs Max, Pepper and our cats Boots and Bandit. I am an avid cyclist enjoying the roads and hills of Clermont (Sugarloaf is a beast) and the surrounding areas. I completed my first century ride (100 miles) in 2013 and now there is no stopping. I ride with Anywhere18 and Winter Springs Cycle for my group rides. I've biked most of Central Florida's roads; but find my inner peace riding in the country side especially Lake County with one of my favorite stops being the Yalaha Bakery....yummy!!! With years of experience through massage, demanding physical jobs, and now as a long distance cyclist, I feel that I have the knowledge and experience to help with all of your massage needs.
